2nd edition final copy

Coffee talk:

Though it is nice to go out and enjoy the ambiance and smells of Bisbee Coffee Company, sometimes you just want to stay home and try to recreate it at home. If you live in Bisbee, you are most spoiled, because you simply drop by and get your bag of choice after work and go home. However, if you have enjoyed our coffee while on vacation and want that experience again, let us recommend you order that same bag via the Internet and have it delivered.

Because the secret to a great brew at home is timing, getting it from a roaster is the ideal solution. The moment you place an order the clock starts ticking. Therefore, Bisbee coffee is roasted the day it will be shipped out, usually within one business day of the time it was ordered. (PLEASE NOTE: Roasting room is closed Saturday & Sunday)
Buying coffee online has huge perks. You can easily get your freshly roasted coffee to you at a huge discount, even paying a price comparably lower to the supermarket price. Order in 5-lb bulk bags for a discount! Any order of 10 lbs or more receives FREE SHIPPING!

Santiagos

  • Is it Monday Yet?
  • Are you ready for some football?
  • "I'm thinkin' about Monday"
  • "Monday can't come soon enough"

Monday Night Football has enjoyed success throughout its 40-year run. The weekly game is popular not only with fans, but with players, as it guarantees a full national telecast of the game and puts both teams in the spotlight. Teams are selected for MNF games based partially on their success during the previous season, rewarding the best teams and biggest stars.

And at Santiagos, you have been selected to be our biggest star, and join us for half priced Margaritas and a full plate of chicken wings to munch on, as you watch Monday Night Football along with us. We have 50 brands of tequila to choose from, and several styles of Margaritas made by one of our most valuable players: the bartender. Couple that with our cooks signature BBQ sauce on chicken wings, and you will be ready for some football.

Employee interview: Glynnis Reed

Bio: Raised in Bisbee 27 years. Likes to play with my Dog Piper and do crossword puzzles. Role models are Karen and Randell Reed, my parents.
BHG: What is your favorite dish?
Glynnis: Avocado Shrimp. You can't go wrong with sauteed shrimp in a creamy, cheesy avocado sauce. I use tortillas to sop up every last drop.
BHG: What is your Philosophy of good customer service?
Glynnis: When a customer walks through Santiago's door, it becomes everyone's responsibility to ensure that they leave happy and satisfied. As the manager, I try to inspire a sense of pride in servers. It's much nicer to work when you are proud of your product, co-worker, surroundings than if you regard it as "just a job".
BHG: How many tables can a good waitress handle?
Glynnis: Depends, it is as few or as many required to ensure that every customer has everything they want and more. That could be one customer or 20 customers.
BHG: Why is Santiagos special?
Glynnis: Unique fantastic food, signature dishes, table side guacamole, and the best service anywhere. Coming to work is a joy, because I get to make people happy for a living!

Below is a fresh pan of fudge out of the oven:

Also, the Bisbee Coffee company has now begun making their own croissants, ranging from regular croissants, the pepperoni with asiago cheese, and the delicious ham and cheese croissant. These are prepared by our new addition to the staff, John Paul, who creates these fresh pastries and others every day for your enjoyment.

Rantings From Rob

This year, fresh off our vacations we've added a few new ideas to the Bisbee Grille with a new menu that brings more focus to fresh fish and healthy portions while maintaining reasonable prices in the midst of incredible volatile commodities in the corn, beef, and coffee, markets. You'll also notice we added a few ambiance enhancements (we got rid of the wobbly table) and tossed in some amazing copper lights hand-made by the amazing Ted Breault and a bright new red awning adorned with those sparkling lights.

Santiago's and Hotel San Ramon continue to emerge from the shadow of the Bisbee Grille as being the leading company thanks to constant upgrades to the menu and a great staff. Customers now enjoy a paired down tequila selection (from 70 to 50) with new wines added to appeal to our diverse clientele.

In the month of December, the Bisbee Coffee Company will be hosting a coffee cupping upstairs in our roaster. It will be held on two Wednesdays, the exact dates will be announced in our blog

http://bisbeecoffeestyleguide.blogspot.com/

So as our group of restaurants begins a new season of setting and striving for new goals designed to provide a challenging environment for our staff but ultimately to make your visit with us just a little more "wow". Thank you for your business and support, we will always do our best to "wow" you.

1. How much quality time do you spend with your partner?
Most weeks we plan something special for just the two of us.
We try to do something romantic everyday.
I cant remember the last time we did something really romantic together.
2. Do you and your partner still have romantic dates together?
Only on special occasions birthdays or anniversaries.
We have moved beyond 'dating'.
I like to recapture that first exciting phase of the romance with a 'date' most weeks.
3. Does food play an important part in your relationships?
Yes, most of my romantic dates are based around food.
Not really, I prefer to grab a quick snack and then do something else!
At the beginning of a relationship I liked the odd candlelit dinner.
